WINTER BALL DIVISION 7 PREMIERS

Our brother side Woodland Wolves trained as a squad with our men’s team at
Birralee Thursday nights.
Training always finished with stoking up the barbie and a few bevvies
The sides always played to win against each other game day, their inaugural
season saw the Woodies take out the flag, congratulations Woodland Wolves.

Some of the Woodlands players are teaming up with our men’s team in our
Veterans summer side Tuesday night at Mirrabooka, they are looking forward
to a great season.

We would certainly love to expand our winter ball teams, we have had an
amazing relationship with the Japanese School fielding a team under our
banner in the Under 15 mixed sides for two seasons, unfortunately they
played off in the finals but were not successful.

It has been an absolute pleasure having Mr Ito and team plus the amazing
parents that assisted with the line marking and canteen help, you will all
be sadly missed as you head home to Japan.

Our own U15 mixed side battled slightly, but not for the want of trying,
they were always out to win, the team led by Russell Berriman who it would
be remiss of the committee not to sincerely thank Russell for the role of
line marking, diamond set up and the list goes on, Russ is our equipment
manager too, thanks Russ to you and your extended group of helpers.

We will be chasing winter ball teams, noted on the PSL site is the intention
to include a home and away ladies sides next season, the format will be
exactly the same as the men’s and junior sides, season runs from April until
September, hopefully we can field a ladies and a U13 mixed side as well

Summer season out of Mirrabooka commences October 17 2015 we are fielding 17
sides, still looking for a scorer and a coach for a couple if teams, if you
can help we would love to hear from you
